Our Nursing Department organized the “May 12-18 Nursing Week Event.”

On May 13, 2025, our Nursing Department organized the “May 12-18 Nursing Week Event.” The event was attended by Faculty of Health Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Fatih POLAT, Faculty of Social and Human Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Mehmet DEMİRTAŞ, Erbaa District Health Director Dr. Faruk KALKAN, deans' assistants; college directors assistant; faculty members; and students. At this year's fourth event, following a moment of silence and the national anthem, Nursing Department Head Assoc. Prof. Dr. Döndü ŞANLITÜRK and Dean of our Faculty Prof. Dr. Fatih POLAT delivered the opening speeches. The International Council of Nurses (ICN) held an event themed “Our Nurses, Our Future. Investing in nurses strengthens economies.” for 2025, where Lecturer Dr. Eda GÜNGÖR, Lecturer Abdurrahim UYANIK, and Clinical Nurse Specialist İlayda ÇAKIR gave speeches. Following the performance of the skit titled “I Can't Believe It!” prepared by our students under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülçin DEMİRDİL, the event concluded with a musical performance.
