Technical and Cultural Visits Conducted as Part of the ÜNİDES-Supported Project “Two Universities, One Vision: Experience the Health System On-Site, Live the Culture Within”

Our Faculty’s Young Managers Club organized a technical visit to Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital as part of the project titled “Two Universities, One Vision: Experience the Health System On-Site, Live the Culture Within,” which is supported by the ÜNİDES Program under the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The first phase of the visit included informative presentations by the hospital’s administrative units. Following the presentations, students had the opportunity to observe practices on-site across various departments of the hospital.

The hospital visit concluded with Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ergin Temel presenting plaques to Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Özgür Yiğit and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatma Kantaş Yılmaz in appreciation of their support and hospitality.

In the second phase of the project, a cultural tour was conducted to explore the historical and cultural heritage of Istanbul. The group visited prominent landmarks such as Hagia Sophia Mosque, Spice Bazaar, Yeni Mosque, Basilica Cistern, and Gülhane Park.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our University administration, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ergin Temel, Research Assistant Pınar Ünkür (academic advisor to the club), and all the students of the Young Managers Club for their contributions to the successful execution of the project.
